Accessibility Statement

Our commitment at Techopolis
Start Testing is built and operated by Techopolis, LLC, an independent software company based in Texas. We build tools that help people organize projects, test software, and improve the quality and accessibility of their products.
Many people on our team are blind or have low vision. Accessibility shapes how we build and use our software every day. We want people with disabilities to be able to participate fully in their work, from reporting an issue to managing a project and reviewing a release.
This statement applies to the Start Testing website and web application at starttesting.net.
Our accessibility standard
Our goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines help make web content easier to perceive, navigate, understand, and use with assistive technology.
We use this standard to guide our design, development, and accessibility reviews. Accessibility is ongoing work, and some areas may still need improvement.
How we approach accessibility
Our accessibility work focuses on:
- Screen reader access with clear headings, labels, and links.
- Keyboard navigation and visible focus indicators.
- Readable text, sufficient contrast, and clear instructions.
- Browser zoom, text resizing, and layouts that adapt to smaller screens.
- Respect for reduced motion preferences.
- Forms that explain required information and help people correct errors.
Techopolis's accessibility approach includes manual screen reader and keyboard testing, automated checks, and feedback from people who rely on assistive technology. Our team's everyday experience helps us identify barriers and improve how the product works.
Barriers and ongoing improvements
If a feature is difficult to use, we want to hear about it. Accessibility can vary for uploaded documents, content added by other users, and external services connected to Start Testing. Please contact us if any of these prevent you from completing your work so we can investigate and help you find a way forward.
We use accessibility feedback to guide fixes and future improvements. We will update this statement as our accessibility work and support information change.
Contact Techopolis for accessibility help
To report an accessibility barrier, suggest an improvement, or request information in an accessible format, email [email protected]. You can also use our Support and feedback page.
When reporting a problem, it helps to include:
- The page or feature you were using.
- What you were trying to do and what prevented you from doing it.
- Your browser, device, and assistive technology, if relevant.
- How you would like us to contact you or provide assistance.
Share whatever details you can. You do not need to diagnose the problem to ask for help. We take accessibility feedback seriously and aim to respond as quickly as we can.
